Do Your Due Diligence

Before you spend your hard-earned money on a
purchase or an investment, check to make sure there
are no complaints against the company or person
you're planning on doing business with. One place to
start is the Federal Trade Commission, where you can
check to see if any formal actions have been taken
against anything from an exercise equipment maker to
a food supplement distributor. You can access this
information www.ftc.gov/ftc/formal.htm

You can also check the Better Business Bureau
(www.bbb.com) or your state attorney general's
consumer division for any complaints.

Or you can research a broker at
www.nasdbrokercheck.com.

Do your homework first before spending money, so you
don't have to fight to get your money back later!
