Just as lenders may want to check out your credit
before doing business with you, you may want to
check the rating of an insurance firm before you buy
a policy to cover your home, your health, your auto
and your life. Is a low premium a tactic by a poorly
rated firm to drum up business? Is the firm fiscally
fit enough to pay out claims? The worse thing is to
buy a policy and think you're covered, only to find
out the insurer can't pay out as promised, or that
the company is in such financial trouble it has to
steeply raise rates across the board. You can go to
